How Cherriee Fell In Love With Michael

Michael walked into my life at a time when I was not looking for anyone new. We clicked pretty much straight away and started our relationship as friends.

One of our first outings together as friends was a drive in my Ford Capri Convertible (roof off of course) to Natural Bridge in the Gold Coast Hinterland. I could not believe that Michael had never been out there (or at least not for many years) so I thought what a great way to spend a beautiful day but going for a drive, with the roof down and loud groovy music. Mind you I am not sure he appreciated my singing. His singing was definitely much better than mine - in fact, he is a very talented singer and musician as many of you know.

We had a fabulous day. It was really easy going and we got along so well. It was just natural to make other arrangements and spend more time with each other and before I knew it, we were dating and spending ALL of our time together.

Time has moved quickly over the past 8 years. We have had some fabulous experiences together (Yamba, Sydney, Melbourne, The Snowy's, NT, Airlie Beach, skydiving, snorkeling, Hamilton Island, The Whitsundays etc) and we have both grown together. We also have our gorgeous little Benson (Benny to us) to share our time with - another great suggestion of Michael's and one that we now could not imagine living without.

Michael has always encouraged, supported and shown me what a truly wonderful person he is. He always makes me laugh even though I am a serious nerdy nerd sometimes. He has also been wonderful and supportive to my family, including my handsome nephew, Chase, and gorgeous niece, Charlotte, with whom he has become good friends and funnily enough, has the same sense of humour as - "Family Guy" is just not as funny to me as it is to them (although I do like Stewie!).

Of course the above hardly demonstrates just how gorgeous, wonderful, loveable, intelligent and talented Michael really is.  Nothing is better than seeing Michael smile and have his gorgeous blue eyes light up when I am with him.  He is my best friend and soon to be husband.  He is a spunky doo dah! and I love him heaps.
